My Approach

I have an eclectic approach to therapy and understand that every person responds differently based on their past experiences and present needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to build coping strategies and address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I also use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing alongside Internal Family Systems to address trauma, attachment/relationship issues, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression.

About Me

I graduated with my Masters Degree in Social Work in 2020, and am a Licensed Masters Social Worker in the state of Idaho. I completed an EMDRIA-approved EMDR training through Trauma Recovery’s Humanitarian Assistance Programs (HAP), and utilize EMDR with many of my patients.

I grew up in Idaho, enjoying the outdoor activities that this beautiful state has to offer. I continue to camp, ski, and run rivers with my family, friends, and cattle dog, Daisy.

Daisy
My cattle dog, Daisy, is often at the office, providing emotional support and/or comedic relief. She is happy to step out of the session if you have any concerns related to dogs or allergies.
